UPDATE: Security cameras capture family dog stolen from Riverside home

Sudbury – A 50-year-old woman was arrested on April 13 in relation to an earlier story where she allegedly broke into a Riverside Drive home on April 9 and stole a dog.

The woman in the video was and charged with break, enter and theft, possession of property obtained by crime and mischief. The police have not identified the woman but on April 14 a woman named, Heather Zeffer, called identifying herself as the woman in the video. She did not admit to breaking into the home but did admit to taking the dog, claiming he was being neglected and was concerned for his health. NorthernLife.ca is currently working on an update including this new information.
