Star Shower Christmas Laser Lights | Slide Show Projector Setup, Tips, Security, Testing and Footage
This weekend has been a busy weekend for us. A lot of Christmas shopping and also I have to setup our Christmas lights. So, I got my star shower laser lights and also the Star Shower slide show that I need to put up. I’ll be putting them up with my little hack to discourage thieves from just plucking them out of the ground. I made a couple of videos on how to do it and just for less than 15 bucks, I am able to secure 6 of my projection laser and slide lights…I’m going to link the original video which I made last year and an updated video a couple of weeks ago below.
Materials needed for this hack: Purchased at Lowes.
1/8″ steel cable / wire rope – $.32 cents per foot – ~ 6 feet
Wire Rope Clip – (2) $.78 cents
Ground Anchor (Proforce Storage Shed anchor) – $6.99
Loctite Thread Locker (red) – $6.48
My setup is to put up 2 shower laser lights and in between them is the Slide show projector. I have to put them in a group so that it will be easy to wire and also easy to secure them with the steel cable. In this spot, I will need the ground anchor because there is nothing here to theter the steel cable wire to.
Here’s a tip guys, a day or 2 before you start putting down light stakes and ground anchors in your yard, it will be an easier chore if you water the lawn. It will make pushing down the stakes a lot easier.
