The Arlo Pro 2 and the Blink XT are great indoor/ outdoor cameras, but which one is better? Both cameras have 1080p HD vision and integrations with Amazon Alexa. The Arlo Pro 2, however, has better video. It can zoom in eight times, compared to the XT’s three, and its field of view is 20 degrees wider than the XT’s at 130 degrees. S
ome other advantages of the Arlo Pro 2? It has two-way audio, unlike the Blink XT. It also offers both local and cloud storage. While the Arlo basic plan gives you a week of cloud storage on the house, Blink XT only lets you hold two hours of footage. Plus, Blink doesn’t offer any local storage.
The Arlo Pro 2 also wins when it comes to smart platform integrations. On top of Amazon Alexa, the camera works with Google Assistant, IFTTT, and Stringify. Although Blink does partner with Alexa, you’ll only be able to turn off your entire camera system, not individual cameras, which is a bit annoying.
